July 2025 Update
This is definitely the year of zines and it’s really exciting. Zines can be anything, and I make them in the basic small format, so they’re not so threatening :) I have several regular weekly art hangouts with friends now, which has been nice (particularly because we can cancel as needed, nbd, otherwise I would go insane).
Here’s some zine pages I contributed to a friend’s zine that was available at Fresno Pride this year. I am really enjoying finally reading again and getting into not just sci fi and fantasy, but QUEER sci fi and COZY queer fantasy.
Continuing to work on this very large painting of Tulips in an idyllic landscape pre-toxic spill (technically Tulips exist post-apocalypse, but that doesn’t mean toxic spills won’t still occur). Will post more details about gallery exhibit when I have them!
And here’s my birthday zine! For someone with a very bad memory, this was a really nice way to sit with the memories.
